September Week of Action Against War I

In solidarity with the call for week of action from 23 to 30 September 2006 by the Assembly of the Movements of the 4th European Social Forum which took place in Athens, Greece, the South Korean anti-war movement is having a demo on September 23 (Saturday) calling for a complete withdrawal of Korean troops in Iraq by end of this year.

For those who are in Seoul, the venue is Seoul Train Station.
The rally starts at 3:00PM.

The Declaration of the Assembly of the Movments of the 4th European Social Forum says

"We will mobilize for a complete withdrawal of troops from Iraq and Afganistan, against the threat of a new war in Iran, against the occupationof Palestine, for nuclear disarmament, to eliminate military bases in Europe and we call for a week of action from 23 to 30 September 2006."
